Overlooked

So I was listening to 106.1 this morning, and they had this little bit about Elliot Yamin. It got me thinking about how long it's been since I've heard his music. I sort of wrote him off as a one hit wonder after his second single did all but please me. Wait for me was a pretty good song but he didn't seem to grow after that. But honestly, I just visited his Myspace music page and have gotten a chance to get reacquainted with his sound. I really like the song, Fight for Love. What can I say, he sounds like a mix of Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke. His sound is like an American Craig David. His voice is really soulful and strong. The song is calming and has a pretty cool beat. He also has this other song, Train Wreck. Again, beautiful voice. So go check them out!!

Sunday night, not Sunday morning

Hey guys.. once again it's time for the work week or in my case the school/work week! Well everything here has been slow motion. Midterms are slowly winding down. My t.v. obsession has hit it peak this weekend. so anywho... so something that has really been bothering me for a while is why doesn't anybody watch The Game on CW33 (That's the cast up there). I mean it is definitely the most underrated show out. It's pretty much the perfect show for young black adults who have to juggle with a successful job, relationships, and fame. Now we might not all be famous but we all share the same problems. After watching one episode you will be dying to find out how all the baby-mama drama plays out and who is sleeping with who. Plus, it's funny. It's not corny haha get the audience to make somenoise funny, its real life humor. I guess the part that I like the most about it is that Melanie (Tia Mowry) and Derwin (Pooch Hall) are the perfect couple. They are so good together so it really makes the show realistic, and so do all the problems they face in their relationship. Unfortunetly this 3rd season may be its last. CW has changed the day it airs from Monday night to Friday 8.30et/7.30ct! So please if you have nothing to do, check it out, or if you don;t have time on Friday just watch it online at www.cwtv.com!
