So I believe Keri Hilson's album just came out last week or so but i listened to it a while back and LOVED IT. Since she is a former writer for many famous and talented artists it isn't a surprise that her album would be just as good, if not better than most R&B artists right now. But perhaps the most disturbingly cool thing is that she has done her two main love songs wit Kanye West and had him in both the videos. Now everyone knows Knock you Down which is so damn good. period. Now her other song really gets into love makin, hence the name, Make Love..
but the interview that went along with this pic was very awkward. Kanye was all over Keri and she didn't seem to like it. He was just being really creepy and it just freaked me out, i mean, ya ur Kanye West but, not every girl wants ya ass!!

Rob Pattz Sings

So me and Aida were at the Walmart and were at the Twilight section on the day of the dvd release (yea we are one of those ppl). Anyways i was looking at the soundtrack and saw TWO freakin songs from Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen. I was surprised but blew it off.

A week later i go online trying to find the song that was playing at the climax of the movie during this really cool montage or what ever... and i was sooo DISTURBED to find it was Pattz. So yea i had to make my way to search all his songs if it was gonna be like this. at first i didn't even think the songs i found on limewire were him since he sounded so different from what i expected. he has a sort of bluesy indie folk rock sound. its really cool. so refreshing and different. you wouldn't even think it was him. he did say he tries to sound like Van Morrison lol. it took me awhile to get used to it.

Too bad he's not gonna have an album any time soon. he says he doesn't want to promote his music off of somebody else's work (stephanie) and that it would be "tacky" to do so now that his acting career has taken off... at least he thinks. o well i can wait. for the time being he can be on replay in my ipod.

So recently I have been noticing that Jesse McCartney is coming up. His voice is getting really strong and he keeps coming out with straight hits!! Anyways, I especially love the song How Do You Sleep? and now it has an official music video and it's featuring Ludacris whom I also love very much. They are a good mix on this one...Check it out!

Overlooked

So I was listening to 106.1 this morning, and they had this little bit about Elliot Yamin. It got me thinking about how long it's been since I've heard his music. I sort of wrote him off as a one hit wonder after his second single did all but please me. Wait for me was a pretty good song but he didn't seem to grow after that. But honestly, I just visited his Myspace music page and have gotten a chance to get reacquainted with his sound. I really like the song, Fight for Love. What can I say, he sounds like a mix of Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke. His sound is like an American Craig David. His voice is really soulful and strong. The song is calming and has a pretty cool beat. He also has this other song, Train Wreck. Again, beautiful voice. So go check them out!!
